About the collective
WHO
WE ARE
Awake Crew is a contemporary dance collective formed in Berlin in 2024 — ensemble floorwork, partnering and improvisation built for the stage. We make pieces that hold a room still.
We perform, curate and teach. Most recently AWAKENING at Pfefferberg
Theater, and the Choreography Contest we curate together with Innuendo —
solo, duo, trio, quartet, crews and collectives, on one stage.
The work sits between contemporary and street vocabulary: weight, contact,
and a lot of listening. We rehearse in Berlin and tour where we're invited.
